HOW MUCH CAN I EXPECT TO EARN?
Earnings will depend on any number of factors, such as your locations visibility, its demographics, the amount of competition in your area, your sales acumen, current market conditions and the amount of time you spend growing and running your Sign Me Up business. Like many other things in life, your results will have a direct correlation to the efforts you put into it. The Sign Me Up franchise gives you a proven system of sales and marketing for your business and yourself. This system, combined with our signage manufacturing training, will fully empower you to realize your dreams and aspirations.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO OPEN A SIGN ME UP FRANCHISE?
The initial franchisee fee is $39,500. Along with the franchisee fee, a royalty on gross sales of five percent is deducted every month. You will also be required to spend two percent on regional and national advertising. (one percent for regional and one percent for national).
WHAT ARE THE FEES ASSOCIATED WITH THE FRANCHISE OPPORTUNITIES?
To buy into a Sign Me Up franchise, you must pay the initial franchise fee of $39,500. Upon paying this fee, you’ll receive four weeks of initial new owner training, an extensive marketing strategy developed specifically for your area, our branding and equipment guide, site selection and lease negotiation assistance, an exclusive territory as described in your FDD, and our complete set of operation and pre-opening manuals. Royalties paid on sales are five percent with an additional one percent paid towards a National Advertising cooperative fund and an additional one percent for the regional advertising fund.
ARE THERE ANY “HIDDEN” FEES?
No, all fees and potential expenses are clearly identified in our FDD and our Operations Manual.
HOW LONG IS THE AGREEMENT? HOW DO WE RENEW?
Our Franchise Agreement is for 10 Years with the option for up to (two) seven-year renewal terms. (Renewal fee is $7,500.00)
WHAT KIND OF TERRITORY WILL I BE GIVEN?
At Sign Me Up, we understand your need for a protected territory and will award you territory with a minimum of 4,000 businesses in it.
Royalties are on a descending scale and are based on sales performance. The National Marketing Fund is discounted to one percent for the first year. *Investment doesn’t include working capital.

AFTER I SIGN, HOW LONG TILL I CAN OPEN MY STORE, AND DO YOU HELP ME FIND MY FIRST LOCATION?
Sign Me Up and its franchise development team will aid you in your real estate efforts and assist you with your site selection and demographic analysis. We will assist you in your goals of opening your Sign Me Up franchised location as quickly as possible. Typically, this should take no more than three to four months from signing your franchise agreement. We will also assist you with your lease review and landlord negotiations, architectural plans and overall coordination. Rest assured, you are in business for yourself but never by yourself with a Sign Me Up franchise.
DO I NEED TO HAVE A GRAPHICS OR SIGN BACKGROUND TO OPEN A STORE?
No, this isn’t necessary. We look for hard working folks with the drive and passion to succeed and the ability to develop lasting client relationships and give outstanding customer service. If you have a sales and marketing or operations background, that’s a plus!
WHAT DO I GET WITH THE PAYMENT OF THE INITIAL FRANCHISE FEE?
Once the initial Franchise Fee is paid and the Agreement has been fully executed — Congratulations!! You are now a Sign Me Up Franchisee, and you will be sent your Pre-Opening Manual, Operations Manual, Sign Me Up Retail Storefront Design, Equipment, Furniture and Fixtures Manual. Once you have that in your possession, we will then be contacting you to go over the next few steps to follow.
WHAT TOPICS ARE COVERED IN TRAINING?
Here are the BIG differences between a Sign Me Up franchise and our competitors. Any Sign franchisor can teach you how to make signs, but here at Sign Me Up, we teach you how to sell them! Our sales and marketing system is second to none, and when you leave our training, you will be anxious to start marketing your Sign Me Up products and services right away. Our operational and sign production training will teach you how to operate your Sign Me Up franchise with confidence, and you will learn to run your business professionally and efficiently, and to manufacture and offer all types of signage and advertising services. In training, we will cover a variety of topics. Business Management, Computerized Sign Making, Inbound and Outbound Sales, Fabrications and Installation of Signs, Employee Interviewing and Training are just a few of the topics that we will cover in a four-week training period.
HOW DO I BENEFIT FROM THE MARKETING FUND FEE?
National Cooperative Marketing Funds benefit you as a Sign Me Up Franchisee in many ways, but the most important thing a Franchisor can do with these funds is to communicate to the general public the benefits of utilizing the many advantages available at their nearest Sign Me Up location. Firstly, know that we are on a mission to build a nationally recognized brand. Our national marketing efforts will primarily be focused on building our brand’s “Top of Mind” awareness and communicating our unparalleled value and quality of Sign Me Up products and services. This will directly benefit our franchisees and equate to more business for their locations. We are sensitive to return on investment (ROI), and look to spend National Cooperative Marketing Fund dollars wisely and effectively in ways that will benefit everyone in our franchise system.
